From these photos, it appears we are holding up to our cheeky tagline, “We Do Very Little Work”. Although I assure you we are very busy at MTD, we try to take full advantage of our limited sunny summer days with fun company social events. Last month we enjoyed a trip to the ballpark to see the Paw Sox play. This month, MTD hosted a surf-n-turf luncheon for all employees at the shop. Everyone dined on fresh Maine lobsters, shipped in the morning of the event, along with barbecue ribs, potato salad, and pasta salad. Summer on a plate – yum!
Also this month, 6 teams from MTD hit the links at Heritage Golf Course for the Annual MTD Golf Tournament, which is for the RFK Children’s Action Corps 13th Annual Swing for Kids charity tournament. This is MTD’s 6th year participating in the event and it is a great opportunity to have some fun while engaging in some friendly competition. The tournament was followed by a steak dinner in the clubhouse and we even won some raffle prizes! MTD is a proud sponsor of this great event and already can’t wait till next year.
Now for the fun part… the 5 losing teams have to cater to the winning team (Matt (C), Dennis T, Lionel, Jeremy). Homemade breakfast? Car wash? Ice cream party? Stay tuned…
