Qualifiers for Micromolding
A common question we receive at MTD is, “do I need micromolding?” A lot of times our clients find out the hard way that their components do, in fact, require micromolding to create a successful part that meets their drawing. Common misconceptions about micro molding include that you can successfully mold micro-sized parts on standard sized molding machines as well as that parts need to be microscopic to be considered “micro”.
